From the first edition in June 2008, the Acqua Panna Tuscan Days recount the essence and values of the brand by opening the doors of the Villa Panna (Scarperia, FI) to customers and journalists for an experience of nature, history, culture and high cuisine. Guests visit part of the 1300-hectare nature reserve via guided tours on foot, on horseback and by bicycle to discover the immense natural wealth of Acqua Panna. The park was proclaimed private property in 1564 by the Medici family, who made it their summer residence. The trip continues on to Florence with visits to important sites in the Medici family history. A gala dinner at the Palazzo dei Vicari di Scarperia and the final dinner at a large local wine producer introduces the guests to the excellence of Tuscan cuisine, naturally complimented by Acqua Panna, the perfect companion to S.Pellegrino, which brings the spirit of Tuscany to tables around the world.
This year’s theme is Contemporary Renaissance and it will be the fil rouge of all the cultural and gastronomical activities organized for the event. Italian chef Davide Scabin, among others, will be on hand to prepare a wonderful Italian feast and a very special menu for guests at Villa Panna.
Taking place from June 16th to 18th, Acqua Panna Tuscan Days will play host to a whole list of events, dinners, visits and excursions.
