La Cuisine by SIAL is the event that has proved itself through its stars.
This is one of the highlights of the show and the event that is most enjoyed by the restaurant and catering professionals. Each time it has been held, SIAL Paris has adapted and developed “its cuisine” even further.
The VIP tour was inaugurated in 2012, to enable exhibitors and their guests to sample inventive and daring recipes. This year, SIAL Paris is in partnership with Rungis and Bourgeois for celebrity chefs such as Frédéric Jaunault, Cyril Arachequesne, Laurent André, Hervé Rodriguez, Claire Verneil, Patrick Jeffroy, Jean-Yves Leuranguer and Pierre Hermé, who will install themselves at the piano of this gigantic open kitchen, using the most innovative food products of SIAL Paris, and incorporating them in gastronomic menus.
La Cuisine by SIAL are also being held daily. These are 30-minute cookery demonstrations given by such famous chefs as Jordan Vignal, Claire Verneil, Jérôme Nutile, Christophe Boucher, Frédéric Lalos, Pierre Rigothier, Jean-Pierre Clément, Cyril Arachequesne. They are ready to reveal their cookery style, using the products and innovations on display at the show. …And an exhibition to submerge themselves even more in the world of restaurants, putting fresh foods in the spotlight through a series of photographs by Franck Hamel of fruit and vegetables, exhibited at “VIP restaurant” and at “La Cuisine by SIAL”.

SIAL Innovation, the nerve centre of the show provides a glimpse into the future of the products that will be displayed on the shelves of tomorrow. It is a focus on the show’s DNA through a series of events and tools that are found in Paris, but just as much in Shanghai, Montreal, Toronto, São Paulo, Abu Dhabi, Manila and Jakarta.

SIAL TV. The trade show’s own television station produces numerous live and web-based broadcasts dedicated to innovation. Experts, politicians, food professionals and personalities offer their views in our studio with innovation as the main theme.

This year, SIAL has created the Wine & Food Lab, an attraction dedicated to the Accords Epicerie Fine et Vins [food-and-wine combinations] in partnership with Pain Vin & Company and Le Monde de l’Epicerie Fine. Wine & Food Lab is a welcoming food-sampling area in hall 5B, enabling you to discover and taste the exhibitors’ finest products, chosen by a Committee of experts in the sector. The events held here will include master classes run by professionals from midday to 3.00 p.m. and a tasting area.
