Italian panettone celebrates the painter Raffaello

As a Milano’s symbol, the Italian panettone by Giovanni Cova & C. becomes a sweet message of restart and to celebrate the 500th anniversary of Raffaello’s death, thanks to the precious packaging of two of his most appreciated masterpieces, kept in the two art galleries of the city

The presentation of the initiative, promoted by Giovanni Cova & C. in collaboration with the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana and the Pinacoteca di Brera, joined for the celebrations of the 500th anniversary of the death of Raffaello, was held on last 6th October at the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, in Milano. For this anniversary, the packages of Giovanni Cova & C. panettone celebrate the great painter from Urbino.

“For some years we have embarked on a path to enhance the Italian artistic heritage, especially linked to the excellence made in Milano, and we want to continue with new sensory experiences”, explains Andrea Muzzi, CEO of Giovanni Cova & C.

The Raffaello Line is a journey between taste and beauty, in which two masterpieces are celebrated. To embellish each packaging, a book with the description of the works created by the two art galleries, is proposed as a gift together with six discount coupons of €30 in total, usable as exhibition entry tickets from December 2020 to June 2021, a unique action for the relaunch of the national cultural and artistic system post-Covid.
