Love is in the air in the Pierre Hermé Paris boutiques
The well-known French pastry chef Pierre Hermé, newly elected president of the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie (we will write about him in the next issue of “Pasticceria Internazionale”), has signed a collaboration with the artist Florence Bamberger, who has designed an exclusive packaging for his macarons and pralines boxes. Inspired by the innocence of first love, the packaging feature iconic stamps, in a pop art version.
And there are three “hearts” by Hermé dedicated to Valentine’s Day (for three/four people): Ispahan, a macaron biscuit heart, with rose petals’ cream, raspberries and letchis; Tarte Infiniment Pistache, shortcrust pastry, pistachio praline and chantilly cream with Iranian pistachios; Orphéo, Viennese dark chocolate biscuit, hazelnut praline, Venezuela Araguani Grand Cru ganache, and toasted almonds.
