NEW CANNOLI BAR OPENS AT EATALY CHICAGO

Eataly, the Italian culinary haven comprised of restaurants, market, and learning center, has opened an all-new counter on the first floor serving filled-to-order cannoli.
“The latest addition to our first floor was met with much anticipation and excitement,” said Alexis Alb, manager of quick-service restaurants for Eataly Chicago. “The combination of a larger size cannolo and a beautiful backdrop of Italian tiles, the Cannoli Bar is a new destination in Chicago.”
At the Cannoli Bar, guests can order a selection of traditional flavors such as candied orange, pistachio, and chocolate. The team at Eataly will fill the cannolo with freshly-whipped sweet ricotta from Calabro, a family-owned and operated cheese company in Connecticut. Guests can select from a menu of toppings, from chocolate shavings to crushed pistachios, for their crunchy filled cannolo to be topped with.

The Cannoli Bar is adorned with custom tiles from Italy in a rainbow of “cool” hues, creating a feeling of southern Italy while you enjoy one of the South’s most beloved desserts. Guests can pair their cannoli with a glass of vino; the bar serves Prosecco, Moscato d’Asti, and Canella Bellini.
Eataly has teamed up with some of Chicago’s most popular pastry chefs to feature unique cannoli such as Sandra Holl and Dana Cree, Peter Rios and Mindy Segal. Each chef has been tasked to create a cannolo that represents their own unique style to be featured at the Cannoli Bar.
